WONDER WOMAN (MOVIE)

I originally designed this doll to be one of the Disney© Princesses for my daughter three years ago.  I have found that this doll can be adapted for just about any female comic book character as well.  This is my adaptation of this doll to turn her into Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) by Gal Gadot in the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice this spring and Wonder Woman movie to be released in June 2017 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Finish off leaving a long tail.  Use tail to sew bottom and seam closed.  Paint wooden skewer silver.  Cut off 5 inches from pointed tip.  Glue cut end in SWORD HILT.  Slip in RIGHT HAND  of WONDER WOMAN.

SWORD SCABBARD:
Rw 1: With coffee brown, ch 18, sc in second ch from hook in each ch across.  (17)
Rws 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.  (17)
Finish off leaving a long tail.  Sew seam and bottom closed.

SCABBARD STRAP #1:
Attach coffee brown yarn with slip st to top of SCABBARD, ch 32, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch, ch 1, turn; slip st in next 2 sc, ch 12, slip st in bottom of SCABBARD, ch 12, sc in second ch from hook and in next ch, ch 1, turn; slip st in next 2 sc, ch 12, slip st in ch 20 of original ch-32.  Finish off.  Weave in ends.  Sew the top point of second sc of each 2-sc square to BELT at each hip.

LASSO:
Wrap gold yarn around flat hand four times.  With a piece of gold yarn, attach LASSO to 2-sc square on WONDER WOMAN’s right hip.

Using black yarn, fringe pieces on HEAD.  Use comb to create desired hairstyle.  Optional:  Can use hairspray if needed to create desired hairstyle.

GLASSES:
If you are not able to find a pair of doll glasses that look like Harry’s, like I didn’t, use black covered wire to create your own pair of glasses.

ANIMALS' BOWLING SET

This set is a result of me working on the giraffe bowling set that I made for my wife while at work.  A co-worker saw me working on it.  My inspiration is a Penguin Bowling Set using the following pattern:  www.bittersweetblog.com/2009/01/19/not-quite-duck-pins.  She asked if could come up with a bowling set featuring different animals.  This set includes a barn owl, giraffe, penguin, tiger, elephant, and monkey.  This is the pattern that I came up with.

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn:   BARN OWL: White, warm brown, peach, and gray.
GIRAFFE: Yellow and coffee brown.
PENGUIN: Black, white, and orange.
TIGER: Bright orange, white, and black.
ELEPHANT: Gray and black.
